Congratulations…….

   Your school is officially registered for the LASC Summer Workshop.  Please help your student council members attending by running this sheet off and seeing that each member attending gets a copy.  It will help them to feel at home at workshop.

·       Go the LASC website and read over the information on

LASC workshop. (www.lascschools.com) Take special note of the workshop survival list and the times and emergency phone numbers

·       Please note that short shorts, short tops, flip flops of any

kind are not acceptable attire for workshop(this includes

during registration)

·       Make sure you bring a jacket(the union ballroom is sometimes cold)

·       Bring your cell phone to keep in touch, but remember all

phones are to be turned off during sessions

·       Talent Show—we will have auditions for a talent show

during workshop---if you sing, play an instrument, dance,etc.,  bring your music, instrument, or costume to try out.  Bring your music on a CD.

·       Read carefully over the commitment paper you signed so that you know what is expected of you(see LASC website)

·       Bring something nice to wear for the banquet and dance

·       Make sure you bring tennis shoes, you will walk everywhere

·       Make sure that you bring medications that you regularly

take.  We are not allowed to dispense medicine.

·       Anyone who drives themselves to workshop will have to turn in keys(delegates are not allowed to drive during workshop)

·       When arriving at workshop everyone must report to the student union to sign in before going to the dorm
